Luang Phor Thuad Pim Yai BE 2502
Author : Chris Jones. An original Article

Luang Phor Thuad Pim Yai - Wat Bhoti  B.E.2502

This little known and rare amulet is without question the very best substitute for the Wat Changhai BE 2497 LP Thuad pim.

Many experts go further than this and state that this is the BE 2497 pim but a second batch.

The appearance and composition of the pim is almost identical to the original BE 2497 Wat Changhai amulets

In short this pim not only appears the same, it is made of identical materials, neua wahn, pong etc. and blessed by the same two monks, LP Tim of Wat Changhai and Ajahn Nong of Wat Sai khao.

Moreover they were created in B.E.2502, only a few years after the creation of the original LP Thuad B.E.2497 amulets, making them of a similar age.

The Luang Phor Thuad Pim Yai B.E.2502 amulets were consecrated by 108 monks at a ceremony held at Wat Bhoti.

The ceremony was chaired by Somdej Prawanarat Pan and Luang Poo Tim of Wat Chang Hai.

The actual composition of the pims is identical to the original pims. The main bulk of the amulet is comprised entirely of LP Thuad BE 2497 powders donated by LP Tim.

They differ only slightly due to the addition of Din Kak Ya Yak mixed with Bailarn, which accounts for the slightly black appearance.

Considering the facts it is easy to understand why this pim is often referred to as batch 2

Amongst the list of illustrious monks that participated in the sanctification of these pims was, as one would expect, Ajahn Nong Wat Sai Khao.

Other important monks in attendance were, Por Tan Chin, the sacred monk of Yala Provice, and Luang Por Sa Ngud of Wat Bhoti.
